Trout Lake Family Session- Vancouver Photographer
Hi, I am so glad you are here!
I am a Family Photographer offering Mini Sessions in Vancouver. I feel to grateful to be living and working on the unseeded Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples and offering Mini Sessions in Vancouver throughout the year. I am so grateful to offer mini sessions as it has allowed families to access family photo sessions when they might not otherwise have done so. Hayley, Todd and little C are a family I have had the pleasure of photographing a few years in a row now. They reached out for the first time to have me photograph their family in Vancouver this fall in celebration of little C turning one!
We explored Trout Lake on a warm winter evening in perfect view of the North Shore mountains.
John Henry Park has consistently shown itself to be a pretty great spot for family photos to take place in Vancouver. Between the beautiful lake and bushy trees, mountain views and cherry trees in the summer, and maple trees in full-colour welcoming fall, I find myself coming back here time and time again.
One of my favourite things about offering Mini Sessions in Vancouver is access to beautiful locations, wherever you live in the city. Whether it’s exploring a beach or a trail in Pacific Spirit Park, finding little (and big ) pockets of beauty is easy to come by.
Outdoor locations are not the only option, and on a rainy Vancouver day, it’s almost always a great idea to plan for a backup.
Luckily, this vibrant city has some pretty cool covered spots available and at-home sessions aren’t just trendy for trend’s sake. They provide a comfortable environment that your family knows well and will find a lot easier to relax in for family photos!
Of course, a lot of the time all that is needed for a beautiful family photograph is the candid faces we find during family snuggles. These have become my favourite way of documenting moments in time for my clients.
If you are currently thinking of getting family photos taken this year, reach out as soon as you can so I can make sure you are included in my shooting schedule for 2021! I honestly can not wait to capture new and past client’s families again this year, and hopefully, add some new faces to my portfolio!
